Lightweight and durable, the Numa Backpack comes in a convenient 30L size that's perfect for urban trekking, fast day hikes or climbs, or full-day excursions. Its sleek and streamlined design conceals more room than you'd expect from a typical daypack—with a lot less bulk. The main body zipper lets you open the entire bag like a clamshell for fast and easy access to everything you've crammed… er, packed neatly… inside. A back panel entry pocket is perfect for stowing your laptop (looking at you, digital nomads) but we say skip the spreadsheets and tuck a hydration bladder in there instead. For you super thirsty types, there's also a large water bottle pocket on each side of the pack.

About the name:

The Numa Backpack was named after Numa Peak in Glacier National Park (48.9033° N, 114.1612° W). In a remote corner of Glacier National Park, Numa Peak rises nearly 5,000 feet above nearby Bowman Lake. To view the peak up close, hikers can traverse the Numa Lookout Trail, which brings them by the Numa Ridge Lookout—one of only four working fire lookout posts in the park. It was here that Desert Solitaire author Edward Abbey summered as a seasonal fire lookout and noted, "Above us loom a number of bare, grim, craggy, snow-dappled peaks."

Standard shipping is free for orders $75 and above—after discounts are applied and before taxes and shipping are calculated—to destinations in the continental 48 US states.

When you place an order, you will get a confirmation email. Once your order has left our warehouse, we will email your tracking information to you. Your carrier can give you an estimated arrival date. Most carriers provide step-by-step updates if you request them.

Express shipping is available via FedEx. Rates are calculated by package weight and destination. These options and their rates will be available during checkout.
